It’s Book Time with Ronald McDonald…
This is an education program designed to motivate students to read more often because reading is FUN and it will help them SUCCEED! The show was developed with the hands-on support and guidance from top elementary education experts. This program features a creative mix of music, magic, puppets, sound effects, storytelling and lots of reading examples from Ronald’s own book collection. Young non-readers and readers alike will come away from the show with a new outlook on why they need to set aside time to read – some Book Time – each and every day!
You and Me Ecology…
This show lets the students know the importance of REDUCING, REUSING, & RECYCLING. We are all living on the planet together, and through an alien known as COSMIC and Ronald McDonald (along with songs, games and a little magic) we quickly find out how to help the planet. Turning the water off while brushing our teeth saves water. Turning the lights off when they are not in use saves electricity. Recycling plastic bottles, bags and aluminum cans and even newspapers and magazines can help us in so many ways. Soon we are all on our way to help our planet, which helps ourselves!
Go Active with Ronald…
A fun-filled show that incorporates MAGIC, MUSIC, DANCING, sound effects and games to get the kids MOVING. The show has been reviewed and approved by The American Academy of Pediatrics and teaches the importance of a MORE ACTIVE LIFESTYLE and the need for FITNESS and ACTIVITY in everyday life.
School Reading Show
This show lets children know how exciting a simple trip to the library can be. With a couple of friends, “STOOGIE THE BOOKWORM” and “MR DICTIONARY,” Ronald McDonald explains how everyone can go to the library and have a different adventure! He call his trips to the library a “RELAXATION READING VACATION” because whenever he wished to have fun, he goes to the library and can learn many different things. He can learn about any animal on earth, any sport or game he could want to play. At the library he can “go” any place in the world and learn about all sorts of adventures (like rockets travels to other planets, undersea treasure hunts, and all sorts of great adventures anywhere and everywhere). Ronald quickly explains that while reading you are automatically learning! That’s why he says, “READERS ARE LEADERS!” With a little time in the library you will quickly find that the library holds much more than books . . .like movies, computers and all sorts of fun!
On The Inside/Friendship Adventure
Though interaction with a cartoon-like puppet named PACKARD P. PERIWINKLE, Ronald McDonald teaches kids about building good character! This show reinforces that it is what is "On the Inside" that really counts. Qualities like TRUSTWORTHINESS, RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, and FAIRNESS are important! Ronald uses skits, games, magic and music to bring the message in a clear and entertaining way!
Safety Show..
This show is geared to the younger crowd, usually 2nd grade on down. In this show Ronald talks about what to do to avoid getting lost and what to do if you do get lost! Issues such as Fire Safety, Emergency 911, and not talking to strangers are addressed. Ronald uses magic to send this message home. This show is a “must” for younger children!
- School shows last approximately 45 minutes.
- Unless specified, shows are geared from 4th grades and lower. 5th and 6th graders are welcome with a mix of younger students. (K, 3 & 5 or 1, 2 & 4 for example).
- Shows need to have 100 students or more present, or receive special approval.
- Ronald and his escort arrive approximately ½ hour before show time to set up.
- Please help Ronald stay on schedule by having children seated by show time.
